Only a year after his near-fatal plane crash, Adam Goldstein, aka DJ AM, was found dead in his apartment after missing for days according to The Associated Press. Read below.

NEW YORK — DJ AM, the sought-after disc jockey who became a celebrity in his own right with high-profile romances and a glamorous lifestyle and survived a plane crash just months ago, was found dead Friday at his apartment. He had a history of drug problems.
Police found a crack pipe and prescription pills in the Manhattan apartment, according to a law enforcement official, who spoke to The Associated Press on condition of anonymity because the investigation was ongoing. Paramedics had to break down the door to the apartment before they found him, shirtless and wearing sweatpants, in his bed at about 5:20 p.m., the official said.
A friend had called police to say he was unable to get into the home in the trendy SoHo neighborhood. There was no evidence of foul play, and a medical examiner will determine the DJ’s cause of death.

Writer- Director John Hughes, 59, died of a heart attack in NYC today. Hughes was known for his popular teen 80s flicks … Pretty in Pink, The Breakfast Club, Ferris Bueller’s Day Off, Sixteen Candles. Which is your favorite flick?
Mine was The Breakfast Club … I remember one summer my cousin and I watched it every night before bed. I would rewind it whenever we saw a funny moment .. or noticed that Anthony Michael Hall’s socks were different. I loved the laughter and the sadness of the movie because even I understood the whole jock-princess-nerd-weirdo-criminal cliques we had in high school.
And still 25 years later it’s one movie I’ll watch whenever it’s on. I loved and always imitated Ally Sheedy’s dance scene you know the part where she dances until she plops on the floor. Funny stuff. I know many who don’t care for the movie but I think they just don’t appreciate the awesomeness that is The Breakfast Club.
I love all the others but this one will forever be my favorite.

I can always see the pattern … celebrity controversy always happens right before a big movie premiere or TV show. In this case it’s Vanessa Hudgens again. Oops my naked pics are leaked online again and guess what? It’s nothing new. These photos were taken before her last ones were leaked. It’s funny to me because I hadn’t heard anything about Hudgens for awhile … not until I saw her latest movie preview. Make sense? What do you think? Is it shocking to see these young women’s naked photos leak online anymore? Big deal or not?

I LOVED this show .. and still watch it today whenever I get the chance. I was eagerly awaiting word that the SBTB cast would reunite on Jimmy Fallon’s show … what happened? People got most but not all of the original cast members on their August cover. Lisa, Jessie, Slater, Zack and Kelly are on the cover. Screech and Mr. Belding are missing. Fallon had started a petition to get these guys back together for a reunion on his show. I wonder if he can bring them ALL back. Guess we’ll have to wait and see!

Kevin Federline has been seen lately with some extra weight … of course this isn’t the K-Fed we’re used to but being a full-time father to he and Brit’s kiddos well he’s obviously a parent who’s concerned more about his kids than himself … and it’s obviously not a bother to his current gf, ex-volleyball player, Victoria Prince, who btw is a hottie … lol … Either way … K-Fed get your a** back on track and lose the weight.
