Now I’m sure when you read the headline on my blog post you thought Brad Pitt? A boxer? For the Olympics? Yes. Brad Pitt is a boxer in the Olympics. BUT it’s not who you think. It’s Australian boxer, Brad Pitt, 25, who quit his day job as a painter to train for the 2008 games, that’s him on the left. Talk about Fight Club. Brad Pitt, 43, the actor and busy dad of 6, is on the right. The younger Brad discovered his namesake when he was in elementary school. How cool is that? And he’s just as good looking. Good luck Brad and Brad.

LeBron James strikes pose for Vogue

Mr. LeBron James is on Vogue’s April cover alongside supermodel, Gisele Bundchen. Vogue is featuring an annual issue focusing on sizes and shapes with the world’s top models and star athletes. James is 6-foot 9 while Bundchen stands 5-foot 11.

Marion Jones off to jail

Former Olympic gold medal winner, Marion Jones, was slated to begin serving her 6-month federal prison sentence for lying to federal investigators about her steroid use and a check fraud scheme according to a report on People.com. The sad part is since admitting her guilt she has returned all 5 gold medals she won during the 2000 Sydney Olympics. Jones is the first professional sports figure to receive prison time.

Jessica sort of keeps distance from Romo

Evidently one would say Jessica’s absence at Saturday night’s game helped Cowboys’ Romo concentrate a little more. Of course afterwards, Romo said Jessica was watching the game and hinting at the idea she may have been there. After a week’s worth of criticism against Jessica, Carolina Panther’s fans showed some distraction by wearing Jessica masks. All in good fun. Either way Cowboys won 20-13.

T.O. to Jessica: Back off!

Poor Jessica Simpson or should I say poor Cowboys? Whatever the problem is, I think Cowboys fans shouldn’t blame Jessica for their loss in Sunday’s game. So what if Romo is dating Simpson. What if it’s just a coincidence that Jessica’s presence caused Romo’s slight distraction. I say: SO WHAT! Take responsibility for your loss guys. I’m not a Cowboys hater and I’m not a huge fan of Jessica’s but come on people why play the blame game? Just take it as it is. I think if anyone was distracted, it may just have been T.O.
