New York governor is granting hip-hop pioneer, rapper, Ricky ‘Slick Rick’ Walters, a full and unconditional pardon for attempted murders of 2 men back in 1991 according to the Associated Press. Walters had served 5 years in prison for another shooting.

According to the Associated Press, Vanilla Ice, 39, was released from jail after allegedly pushing his wife. The rap performer was arrested at home in Florida Thursday night but was released today (Friday) after appearing in court.

Rapper T.I., 27,  pleaded guilty to a federal weapons possessions charge Thursday. T.I., who’s real name is Clifford Harris, must complete 1,000 out of 1,500 hours of community service and will be sentenced to serve 12 months of prison after community service, according to the Associated Press. And by the way, when I was posting this blog I couldn’t help but laugh after I saw his real name. I mean he doesn’t look like a Clifford which is why he must’ve changed it.

Snoop Dogg will be making a cameo appearance on the daytime soap opera, ‘One Life to Live.’ He will be performing two songs, ‘Sensual Seduction’ and ‘Life of Da Party,’ from his latest album, ‘Ego trippin’.’ According to ABC network, Snoop will also be acting in several scenes. Personally, I don’t think it’s anyone’s business who takes steroids or not as long as it doesn’t get out of control. Steroids are used medically, specifically for anemia and testosterone and other uses. What do you think about all of this?

I wonder if he’ll be retiring pretty soon. He said he wanted to retire from making music a few years ago but came back with his album “Kingdom Come.” Who knows.
