Actress Cameron Diaz and her family are paying tribute to her father, Emilio, 58, who passed away April 15 from post-influenza MRSA pneumonia, an aggressive staph infection that infects anyone at any age, the family said. The elder Diaz is survived by his wife, Billie, and his daughters, actress, Cameron Diaz and her sister Chimene. According to People.com, Diaz remembered his humor and honesty and said they’re coping with his death with the help of “an amazing outpouring of love.”

Juvenile’s manager says he was shocked and devastated by his 4-year-old daughter’s death, Jelani, her mother and another child. According to MTV.com, Jelani’s mother, Joy Deleston’s 17-year-old son, Anthony, was arrested and charged with three counts of murder and three counts of aggravated assault. Police still haven’t announced a motive for the shootings. According to the Atlanta Journal-Constitution, a memorial service has been set up for this week.

A freak accident claimed the life of Heidi Montag’s stepbrother, Eric O’Hara, who was a veteran of several combat missions in Iraq and Afghanistan, People.com has reported. He was killed Thursday at the Steamboat Grand Resort Hotel  in Colorado when he slipped and fell off a sloped roof trying to clear snow. ‘The Hills’ star said, ‘Losing my brother, at an early age, is such a tragedy.’ Heidi’s father, Bill Montag, is married to O’Hara’s mother, Terry, both of whom survive Eric, as do his father, two sisters, another stepsister, Holly Montag, his grandmother and other relatives. I’m not really sure what to say. Anytime someone passes away whether tragic or not, it’s always a sad time. No matter who you are when you lose a member of the family it’s always tough to deal with.
