Actor James Garner, 80, was hospitalized after suffering a minor stroke last week at home. Garner, the star of The Rockford Files and Maverick will be going home soon his publicist said.

Toni Braxton, 40, has been hospitalized in Las Vegas where she was performing at the Flamingo Hotel Casino according to the Associated Press. Braxton has an undisclosed ailment that isn’t life-threatening.

Jessica Simpson, 27, is doing much better after being hospitalized with a minor kidney infection, according to Simpson’s representative.

In other news, Jazz singer, Nancy Wilson, 71, not to be confused with Nancy Wilson of Heart, was also hospitalized for treatment of a collapsed lung. The Grammy-winning singer was expected to recover.
