Former NBA star, Dennis Rodman, 46, was arrested for allegedly hitting his girlfriend. Rodman’s manager told TMZ.com that both Rodman and his girlfriend had too much to drink. Apparently, he is going through a nasty divorce and is planning on entering rehab so I guess he had to take his anger out on someone huh? It’s my blog so I can pretty much put whoever I want, where I want. They aren’t ranked in any specific order. What do you think? Do you think anyone was left out? I was surprised Joe Montana, Troy Aikman, Eli Manning and even Dan Marino were left out. According to the Associated Press, Roger Clemens is suing a former trainer for defamation. In a conference held Monday, a recorded conversation from last week was being played. Clemens’ former trainer was saying he’d go to jail for him (Clemens). In an ongoing attempt to clear his name, Clemens said he was going to Congress to tell the truth. We’ll just have to wait and see.
In other news, in my opinion, I really don’t care for Michael Vick. As an animal lover myself, I was appalled by his cruel treatment of dogs and deserves to serve every bit of prison time he received. Evidently one would say Jessica’s absence at Saturday night’s game helped Cowboys’ Romo concentrate a little more. Of course afterwards, Romo said Jessica was watching the game and hinting at the idea she may have been there. After a week’s worth of criticism against Jessica, Carolina Panther’s fans showed some distraction by wearing Jessica masks. All in good fun. Well I don’t know much about football so here is my observation of it and a question. Is Dallas Cowboys quarterback Tony Romo cursed? Yesterday’s loss to the Philadelphia Eagles drew my interest. Now back when Romo was linked to American Idol winner Carrie Underwood his game was off. Suddenly he was single and my guess was able to concentrate on the game. This football season was going good for Romo until People magazine ran an article linking Mr. Romo to the beautiful Jessica Simpson. Now I can understand the distraction but come on Romo! Simpson and her parents and Romo’s parents were in the stands cheering him on. According to a report in People, a fan was quoted reportedly yelling at Romo, “Worry about the game, not your girlfriend!” This is actually the first time I’ve heard this quote especially from a fan. I mean other than my husband and other relatives. So Cowboys fan you’re not alone. I too say that Romo is easily distracted when he’s dating a celebrity. Either way I guess I’m not the only one who has made this observation. _______ AP photo |
