Meyer started writing a companion book to Twilight, one that would tell that book’s story from Edward’s perspective instead of Bella’s. When someone closer to the author leaked chapters from the book onto the Internet, Meyer — at least temporarily — abandoned the project, but she has posted the leaked chapters on her Website.
More than 100 Twilight fans each day make trips to the real small town of Forks, Washington. A restaurant called Sully’s Drive-In even offers a Bella Burger on its menu, and the burger comes with a special side item: A pair of fake plastic vampire teeth!
On her official Website, Meyer has shared a list of the music she listened to while writing Twilight, including tunes by Radiohead, Coldplay, Linkin Park, Dido and Billy Joel.
Meyer originally titled Twilight after the real-world town most of the story is set in: Forks.
Robert Pattinson, who won the role of Edward in the Nov. 21 movie, is also an aspiring rock star whose songs are included on the movie’s official soundtrack.
Thousands of men wanted to audition for the part of Edward in the Twilight movie, and fans wanted Smallville hottie Tom Welling to play the part.
The idea for the book came to author Stephenie Meyer in a dream. She even remembers the exact day of the dream: June 2, 2003.
Also like Bella – who went from mousy to one of the most sought after girls at her school when she moved from Phoenix to Forks – Meyer said that, compared to the “Barbies” in her Scottsdale, Arizona high school, she was considered a “5.” But when she went away to college, she was suddenly popular with guys.
Like Bella before she moved to Forks, Washington, Meyer also grew up in Phoenix, Arizona.
When Meyer began writing the book, she didn’t have names yet for Edward and Bella, so she just called them “he” and “she” in the first chapter (Chapter 13) that she wrote.
Kristen Stewart, who plays Bella in the Twilight movie, was “discovered” by an agent when she was 8-years-old and starring in her elementary school Christmas pageant.

It was Bella’s birth day and when she open the first present she got a paper cut with the wrapping paper, Jasper smell the blood and try to kill her since he is the newest member in the family he is still learning how to control him self.
Bella has just opened a present.
Jasper is the newest vampire of the Cullens… so its very hard for him to be around humans, if he were to see blood, he would go for it, he couldnt control it. thats why he always looks pained in school.
Bella opened her next present and the wrapping paper gave her a paper cut! Jasper couldnt control it so he went for her. people had to hold him back!
