According to the Associated Press, Roger Clemens is suing a former trainer for defamation. In a conference held Monday, a recorded conversation from last week was being played. Clemens’ former trainer was saying he’d go to jail for him (Clemens). In an ongoing attempt to clear his name, Clemens said he was going to Congress to tell the truth. We’ll just have to wait and see.
In other news, in my opinion, I really don’t care for Michael Vick. As an animal lover myself, I was appalled by his cruel treatment of dogs and deserves to serve every bit of prison time he received. He recently left Virginia to enter a drug treatment program in Kansas hoping to reduce his sentence that he received for his dog-fighting conviction, but I will keep my fingers crossed that that never happens.
