Ike Turner, former husband of Tina Turner passed away Wednesday, December 12 … besides making music with Tina, he will always be portrayed as Tina’s drug-addicted, wife-abusing husband … I remember watching “What’s Love Got To Do With It” a movie based on Tina Turner’s autobiography. Ike’s character was portrayed almost too well by Laurence Fishburne. Here’s a picture of Ike and Tina circa 1960s.
